Integrating sustainable development into community regeneration

Hilton Hotel, Glasgow

Regeneration projects try to create places where people want to live and work, now and in the future.  they meet the diverse needs of existing and future residents, ensure communities are sensitive to their environment, and contribute to a high quality of life.  In order to do this, we need to learn and incorporate the lessons of sustainable development.

This one day practice event will bring together practitioners involved in sustainable development and community regeneration to identify common areas of interest, share what works and propose practical action to help 'Close the Opportunity Gap' for Scotland’s most disadvantaged communities.
