Rural Development in the Highlands and
Through its Closing the Opportunity Gap targets, the Scottish Executive is
committed to improving service delivery in rural areas to improve access to and
quality of key services in remote and disadvantaged communities.
The Scottish Centre for Regeneration and
working together with partners and networks across the area to promote good
practice and exchange information about what works for community regeneration in remote rural areas. Running from noon on Thursday to noon on Friday this practice event will provide an opportunity to take stock of recent developments, share challenges and success stories and help chart the way forward for strong, vibrant and sustainable communities.
